The Can-Am Maverick X3 MAX DS Turbo is built as a high-performance four-seat side-by-side. Its turbocharged 900cc Rotax engine, FOX 2.5 PODIUM QS3 shocks, long-travel suspension and Smart-Lok four-wheel-drive system give it the capability to handle both technical obstacles and faster sections of trail.
The X3 MAX Turbo has responsive controls and an automatic CVT, but it is still a high-performance UTV with 135 horsepower. We go over the controls, operating procedures, trail information and important driving basics before you leave so you understand the machine and the route you plan to ride.
The Can-Am Maverick X3 MAX Turbo is a four-seat UTV, giving you room for a driver and up to three passengers. The longer chassis provides additional seating while maintaining the X3 platform's off-road performance.
The 2023 Can-Am Maverick X3 MAX DS Turbo 64 uses a 900cc turbocharged Rotax ACE three-cylinder engine producing 135 horsepower. That power gives the X3 MAX plenty of performance for climbing, accelerating through open sections and navigating challenging Moab terrain.
The X3 MAX Turbo is well suited to the type of terrain found on Hell's Revenge, including steep climbs, descents, ledges and slickrock. Its 64-inch width, 30-inch tires, 20 inches of suspension travel and Smart-Lok four-wheel-drive system give it the ground clearance, traction and suspension capability needed for challenging sections of the trail.
Your rental includes the equipment and support provided with your Moab Tour Company rental, including helmets, trail maps, trail support, fueling and washing. We also provide information to help you understand the machine and plan your ride before heading out.
The renter must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license. Before operating the Can-Am X3 MAX Turbo, every driver should understand the rental requirements and operating rules provided by Moab Tour Company.
A $2,000 damage authorization is required for the rental. A damage waiver is available that can reduce your financial responsibility for covered damage. Please review the current rental agreement and waiver details before your rental.
Contact Moab Tour Company if you have a mechanical problem, flat tire or belt issue while riding. Our trail support can assist when possible. With the applicable damage waiver, one tire or belt is covered with a $50 deductible rather than the standard repair responsibility.

Yes. The X3 MAX DS Turbo uses Can-Am's Smart-Lok front differential system with selectable 2WD, 4WD with front differential lock, 4WD Trail and 4WD Trail Activ modes. This allows the driver to select the drivetrain setting that fits the terrain and conditions.
The 2023 X3 MAX DS Turbo 64 comes equipped with 30-inch Maxxis Carnivore tires mounted on 14-inch cast-aluminum wheels. The combination provides useful ground clearance and traction for rocky and uneven terrain.
No. Off-highway vehicles including UTVs and side-by-sides are not permitted in Arches National Park or Canyonlands National Park. There are many public BLM roads and OHV trails surrounding Moab where UTVs are permitted. Always follow current signs, closures and trail regulations.
Utah requires OHV operators to complete the applicable OHV education requirement before operating on public lands. Utah also requires OHVs to be properly registered. Requirements can vary depending on the rider's age and circumstances, so make sure you have the required education documentation before operating an OHV in Utah.

No. Fueling and washing are included with your rental. Bring the Can-Am back when your rental period is finished and Moab Tour Company will take care of the normal refueling and cleaning.
