World-Famous Moab 4x4 Trails

From sweeping canyon views to hidden caves and natural arches, Moab is best explored off the beaten path. A Jeep Rubicon 4×4 rental lets you reach the places few others can, creating memories you won’t forget
  • Potash Road & Shafer Switchbacks – A scenic drive that takes you along the Colorado River before climbing the dramatic Shafer Switchbacks into Canyonlands National Park. With towering red walls, ancient petroglyphs, and sweeping canyon views, this route delivers some of Moab’s most breathtaking scenery.
  • Long Canyon – Known for its unforgettable entry point, where the road passes beneath a massive fallen boulder, Long Canyon is a classic Moab route. This scenic drive winds from Dead Horse Point toward the Colorado River, offering wide desert views and a sense of adventure without extreme obstacles.
  • Gemini Bridges – A family-friendly trail that leads to one of Moab’s most famous natural rock formations. Drive your Rubicon across desert terrain to the spectacular twin sandstone arches, where you can walk right across the bridges for an unforgettable view into the canyon below.
  • Bull Canyon – For a different perspective of Gemini Bridges, Bull Canyon takes you to the base of the arches. Surrounded by towering cliffs and dramatic desert landscapes, this trail is a favorite for those who want stunning views without technical driving.
  • Hurrah Pass – A relaxed and scenic route perfect for families or anyone looking for wide desert views. Pass by fascinating petroglyphs, follow the Colorado River, and climb to a panoramic overlook of Canyonlands.
  • Catacomb Caves on Chicken Corners – Hug the cliffs high above the Colorado River as you follow the legendary Chicken Corners route. Along the way, stop at the mysterious Catacomb Cave, a hidden chamber filled with unique rock formations. It’s the perfect balance of history, scenery, and adventure.
  • Hell’s Revenge – Moab’s signature off-road trail. With your Rubicon, you’ll tackle steep slickrock climbs, dramatic descents, and panoramic views of Arches and the Colorado River. It’s a must-do for adrenaline seekers ready to test their skills.
  • Fins and Things – A slickrock playground that shows off just what the Jeep Rubicon was built for. Crawl over sandstone fins, drop into sandy washes, and enjoy an off-road experience that’s exciting and scenic—great for adventurous first-timers.
